The Lavazza Calendar 2015 “The Earth Defenders” was created in collaboration with Slow Food, based on a creative project from Armando Testa and shot by the great photographer Steve McCurry. It is a journey in the African continent to celebrate the stories of everyday heroism of the “Earth Defenders”: women and men who defend their cultural and food traditions every day with courage, pride and dedication. For the first time the Calendar will be available to buy in a limited edition, to support the Slow project “10,000 gardens in Africa”. In this way, everyone can become one of the #earthdefenders.
