More than Us is the 2024 Lavazza Calendar that celebrates the value of collaboration in a photographic journey towards Africa, the cradle of coffee.

Thandiwe Muriu, Daniel Obasi and Aart Verrips have a vision that is all about dialogue and cooperation: an approach that is also the basis of the values promoted by the Giuseppe e Pericle Lavazza Onlus Foundation, of which the Calendar celebrates the twentieth anniversary.
The 3 photographers tell the Foundation’s projects through 4 different points of view: “More Responsibility”, “More Sustainability”, “More Innovation”, “More Inspiration”.
The result is a kaleidoscopic vision of reality that reconfirms the richness and creative and cultural avant-garde of the continent.
Alongside the photographers, there are also three international ambassadors, famous for their commitment to social projects: the Somali model and actress Waris Dirie; the Nobel Prize winner Denis Mukwege, gynecologist and founder of the Panzi Hospital, and the activist Zulaikha Patel.
Photography and activism work together to explore the beauty of contamination and to create something greater than what each could do individually: “More than Us”.
